MATCH NAME: STMTC Monthly Out Door 1800 Pistol Match – Approved Tournament.  All NRA Rules for Out Door Conventional Pistol Apply.

Directions to Range

From the Northeast side of San Antonio, take IH-35 south past the southwest side of 1604. Exit right onto Sheppard Rd.

As you drive on Sheppard Rd. you will cross Pearsall Rd, keep going until you reach Jarratt Rd. Turn left on Jarratt Rd. and go approximately .9 miles until you reach the bend in the road. Just past the bend in the road is a Sign on right for Blackhawk Range”. Turn right on the dirt road and go approximately .5 miles to the range entrance.

From the Northwest side of town, take Interstate Lop-410 south, exit onto IH35 South, then exit onto Sheppard Rd. The rest of the directions are same as above.

When you arrive at the Blackhawk Shooting Range keep left. The Marksmanship Training Center range will be on the right about 200 yards. It is the range with the 8’ chain-link fence.

COMPETITION ELEGIBILITY: All competitors are requested to be members of the NRA, however NRA membership is not required.  Membership cards and NRA classification cards will be exhibited at time of squading.

FEES: Fees will include all match fees and the NRA fee ($4.25)

REFUNDS: ADVANCED ENTRY FEES RECEIVED WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR “N0-SHOWS” OR IF THE MATCH DIRECTOR IS NOT NOTIFIED ON OR BFORE THE DAY OF THE MATCH.

ENTRIES WILL CLOSE:  At 08:45 AM the day of the Match.

MATCH COURSE: The course of fire for all Pistol Matches will be a 600 point NRA SHORT COURSE match as listed below.  (No-National Match Course Stage).

22 PISTOL: Rule 3.1.3 & 3.4

Match-1          Slow-fire 22 pistol; consisting of 20 shots slow-fire, fired in two -10 shot stages utilizing the NRA (B-16, 1993) target.

Match-2 Time-Fire 22 pistol; consisting of 20 shots Time-Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of  two-5 shot strings, fired in 20 seconds per string, utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-3          Rapid-Fire 22 pistol; consisting of 20 shots Rapid Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of two-5 shot strings fired in 10 seconds per string, utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-4* is the aggregate scores of matches 1+2+3.

CENTER-FIRE:  Rule 3.2

Match-5          SLOW-FIRE, Center-Fire pistol; consisting of 20 shots slow-fire, fired in two-10 stages utilizing the NRA (B-16, 1993) target.

Match-6          TIME-FIRE, Center-Fire pistol; consisting of 20 shots Time-Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of  two-5 shot strings, fired in 20 seconds per string, utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-7          Rapid-Fire, CENTER-FIRE pistol; consisting of 20 shots Rapid Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of two-5 shot strings fired in 10 seconds per string utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-8* is the aggregate scores of matches 5+6+7

45 MATCH:  Rule 3.1.1 & 3.1.2

Match-9          SLOW-FIRE, 45 CALIBER pistol; consisting of 20 shots slow-fire, fired in two-10 stages utilizing the NRA (B-16, 1993) target.

Match-10       TIME-FIRE, 45 CALIBER pistol; consisting of 20 shots Time-Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of  two-5 shot strings, fired in 20 seconds per string, utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-11       Rapid-Fire, 45 CALIBER pistol; consisting of 20 shots Rapid Fire, fired in two 10 shot stages; each stage consisting of two-5 shot strings fired in 10 seconds per string, utilizing the NRA B-8 target.

Match-12* is the aggregate scores of matches 9+10+11

GRAND AGGREGATE – OVERALL WINNER is the aggregate of all three pistol matches. (Aggregate of Matches 4+8+12)

TARGET TO BE USED: Slow-fire (B-16), Time-Fire (B-8) and Rapid-Fire (B-8).

CLASSIFICATIONS: The NRA classification system will be used in all matches. Unclassified adults will shoot in master class. Three competitors minimum per classification. Classifications with less than three competitors will be combined and classed up in Class.

AWARDS: Cash or Award points for winners in Aggregates matches: Match-4*, Match-8*, Match-12* and the Grand Aggregate Match will be awarded if there are 10 or more competitors.

Bring food, water and snacks.  We will be taking a 15 Break after the Center-fire match. The match should be over about 01:30 PM. Bathroom facilities are located at the Blackhawk Range Office and a Portable-Potty is located at the STMTC range.
