The month of March is coming to a close, which means we will be having our monthly work party at Blackhawk Range. This is our last chance to clean up and make preparations for the Wounded Warriors event we will be hosting on 03 April. For those of you who are not aware, we had some concrete work done to the firing line, adding 3 feet to the back as well as a walkway to the port-a-john area, as well as a concrete slab to put the port-a-john on. We need to move some of the spilled concrete and move some dirt around to make the place presentable.

We’ll need some folks to bring out shovels, yard rakes, gravel rakes, breaker bars, sledge hammers, or anything else you think might make the job easier. A couple of wheel-barrows would be nice also. Showtime is 0900 on Saturday, 27 March and we’ll work until the range is ready.

Along with the clean up, I would also like for those individuals that agreed to volunteer for the event to come out for a meeting so we can get a head count, go over the plan, and assign tasks ahead of time. This should make the day of the event easier. If you can’t make it this Saturday, let me know that you are still interested in volunteering and we’ll get you into a spot to help out.
